Who We Are

VBS was established in 2013, as an employee benefits broker company. As a result of the CEO, Tyrone Moore’s personal hearing experience of being hearing impaired. Thus, Virtual Hearing Solutions was established.

As a hearing-impaired person, I am a true example of how hearing loss impacts our workplace and quality of life. Hearing Loss is the number 2 most diagnosed health condition affecting over 1.5 billion globally. About 430 million people already have a disability due to it.

An effective way to reduce and treat hearing loss high statistics is through mass testing. In the United States, only 3% of the population gets tested annually. There is a supply-need gap between audiologists and ENTs across the world. This gap will likely widen in the coming years as the prevalence of hearing loss increases and the population ages unless measures are implemented.

To close this gap, VHS partners with existing systems (i.e., governments, health planners, and private practitioners) to build capacity and bring services to the people in need at their doorsteps.
